Hamlet: What's his weapon?
Osric: Rapier & Dagger
Hamlet: That's two weapons but well...
There are several Society of American Fight Director's Skills Proficiency Tests coming up this Winter. A Single Sword SPT for the University of Denver and an Unarmed SPT for the Denver Center Theatre Academy. In conjunction with those SPT's, I will also be offering some Skills Proficiency Renewal classes in Unarmed and Single Sword this March.
What a fast week this has been. SantaLand opened on Friday, December 4th and I am already almost halfway through the run. Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company decided today to add two shows so I wanted to spread the word. The run has only a few seats left!

In December of 2008, while in rehearsal for "The SantaLand Diaries" for the Foothill Theatre in Nevada City, CA I got the call. Kent Thompson, Artistic Director of the Denver Center Theatre Company wanted me to play Ratcliffe in their upcoming production of "Richard III" directed by Jesse Berger. This was in addition to Fight Direction, a weighty task alone, with 10-17 murders or killings planned across the arc of the play.
So my agent called me in early August asking me if I wanted to audition for a Halloween commercial for Starz.
Checking the audition info, I noticed I was free for the audition AND the shoot date, something that rarely happens.
The audition was for werewolves, vampires & zombies.
Me: What should I dress for?
Agent: Vampire. Definitely Vampire.
